Currently it unknown what prompted the update, could of been a simple maintenance update, which what appears to be the case on initial inspections. Below i provided a small chart for people on other firmwares and their hacks. The Flash Writer, the IDPS Dumper and the Flash Dumper of PS3Xploit have been updated to version 2.0.1, to allow the installation of any custom firmware 4.84 over HFW 4.84 on PS3 models that are CFW compatible. Once that's downloaded Make a folder on your USB Drive called PS3 then -> UPDATE now copy the 999 downgrader which should show up as 3.55.4 into the UPDATE folder so it should look like this whenever your done PS3->UPDATE->3.55.4 now rename the file to PS3UPDAT.PUPĤ. ![]() You do not need a flasher for this tutorial however the previous only applies if your already on CFW if not then you will need one but im writing this tutorial with the assumption you already have Downgraded and are on CFW.ģ. ![]()
